Some, but not all, of the Run the Door crowd was ready to roll out the barrel on Sept. 21 at the Hey Hey 5K in Baileys Harbor. The race had a record turnout with 387 finishers. Schopf family, this one’s for you!

Another good Run the Door turnout made for a fun morning at the 2024 Shanty Days 5K in Algoma on Aug. 10! As always, not everyone made the photo.

Run the Door went Island hopping at the annual Washington Island Rec Run. Not all made the photo! It was a beautiful day — as always! Thanks to Kay Jensen for the photo.

Some of the Run the Door group shines in the bright sun at Brussels on July 13 just before the 2024 Belgian Days 4-mile and 2-mile events. As usual, it was hot, but fun!

On a beautiful day for the Crossroads Trail Run/Walk on June 15, a good-sized Run the Door contingent was among the 398 total registrants in the 10K, 5Kor 2K at Crossroads in Sturgeon Bay. Thanks to Pat Saladin for the photos.

It was the usual craziness before the 2024 Maifest Lake to Lake 10K and 2-mile on May 26 in Jacksonport. Many other Run the Door members were there, just not pictured! Thanks to Brian Fitzgerald for the photo.

Some of the Run the Door crew stays warm before the Blossom 5M and 2M on May 11 in Egg Harbor. Thanks to Kay Jensen for the photo.

The pre-race smiles were in abundance (above and below) before the Nicolet Bay 5K (and Door County Half Marathon on May 4 in Peninsula State Park. Thanks to Kay Jensen for the photos.

The 2024 season begins! A hearty bunch of Run the Door/Run Door County participants (some of our 26 at the race) braved the 38-degree temps and high west winds for a photo shoot prior to the Southern Door Trail Trot 2-Mile Run/Walk in Brussels on April 20. Thanks to Marc Vandenhouten for putting on a great event . . . and winning it!

It was another fun time at the 2023 Bridge to Bridge Holiday Lights Run on Dec. 14. Thanks to Kitty’s in Sturgeon Bay for hosting and thyanks to all who came out on a perfect night for a run and some fun! Thanks to Pat Saladin for the photo.

There was plenty of holiday cheer for this bunch of Run the Door participants at the Door County Y Ugly Sweater Run on Dec. 2 in Fish Creek. Season point totals are updated!

Tom Schneider of Kewaunee (right) reigns this year as the only new Run the Door Hall of Famer for 2023 after completing the Ugly Sweater Run. He will be inducted at the post-season party on Jan. 13 at Crossroads in Sturgeon Bay. Congrats to Tom! Thanks to Pat Saladin for the photos.

It was another great year for the Run Wild Run at Potowatomi State Park on Oct. 7. Once again, it was a nice turnout from Run the Door, live and virturally!

That first-mile-plus hill was still there, but we had fun times at the 2023 Hey Hey 5K in Baileys Harbor on Sept. 23! The beer and root beer floats tasted great!

It was another great Shanty Days 5K on Aug. 12 in Algoma. This is a sampling of what was a very strong Run the Door turnout. Nice running/walking! Bravo to all!

The chosen few (not really!) who elected to run the 30th Washington Island rec run on July 22, ran into some heat and a lot of good times. BTW, Bib 432 is noted runner Lynn Fitzsimmons.

This group of Runners of the Door ran the big hill and then enjoyed Hairpin Run 5K in Fish Creek on the Fourth of July! We had a good turnout!

Congratulations to all from Run the Door who ran the 2023 Crossroads Trail Runs (10K, 5K, 2K) on June 17 at Crossroads in Sturgeon Bay! Pat Saladin photo

It was a beautiful day for the 2023 Mailfest Lake to Lake 10K and 2-mile in Jacksonport! RTD participants turned in some great times. Pat Saladin photo.

3.  You score 3, 2, 0r 1 additional points if you are the first, second or third male or female OVERALL in a Run the Door race.

4. If you are one of the circuit race directors or on a circuit race committee, you score 10 points.
